Minnesota Juniors Volleyball Club Leadership
Club leadership:
Ryan Salmon, Club Director - Boys Programs
ryan@mnjrsvolleyball.comWith over three decades of dedicated involvement in the world of volleyball, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the game. My journey started on the beaches of Southern California, continuing indoors as a collegiate player at UNLV and through years of coaching at various levels, from high school to juniors and even college.
Player's Passion:
As a former collegiate player at UNLV and Kendall College, I've had the privilege of competing at a high level, developing not only my skills but also my deep passion for the sport. The lessons I learned on the court have stayed with me throughout my career, and I'm committed to passing on that knowledge to the next generation of athletes.
Coaching Excellence:
My coaching journey has been a fulfilling one, marked by successes at the high school, junior, and college levels. I've had the privilege of working with talented athletes and helping them hone their skills, reach their potential, and achieve their goals. Whether it's fine-tuning fundamentals or strategizing for the most crucial moments, I'm dedicated to helping my players and teams excel.
Nicole Salmon, Club Director - Girls Programs
nicole@mnjrsvolleyball.comMy journey in the world of volleyball has been both dynamic and fulfilling. I achieved the prestigious honor of becoming an All-American during my collegiate career at the University of Missouri. Following my playing days, I transitioned into the realm of coaching, starting with a three-year stint as an assistant coach at McNeese State University, followed by five productive years at Indiana State University.
However, after the demanding schedule of coaching at the Division I level, I made the decision to relocate to Minnesota, seeking closer proximity to my family. Since my move to this beautiful state, I've had the pleasure of meeting and marrying my husband, Ryan, and we are now proud parents to three wonderful sons: Ryker (4), Xander (2), and Maddux (1). During this time, I also served as the head coach at Hill-Murray for a span of two years, while also coaching club volleyball and providing private lessons to aspiring athletes.
